What type of company would season cast iron cookware?

I got my sister a set of cast iron cookware for her birthday. I just found out that they have to be "seasoned" before they can be cooked with. I read up on the seasoning process, but it seems like an all-day project. Currently I am too busy for something like that. What type of company would I search for on yahoo/google maps?

Can a pin hole in the enamel on enamel-coated cast iron cookware cause enamel to crack?

We just got a shipment of enamel-coated cast iron cookware today and the skillet seems to have unfinished enamel on it. There's a small, pin-sized hole on the bottom on the inside. We were wondering if anything could get between the enamel and the cast iron or if it might chip at a later date?

Or any other problems it might cause? Please let us know if we need to return the product.

How do I know if I’m buying high quality cast iron cookware?

What are some good names in cast iron cookware? What are some names to avoid? How can I tell if the cast iron is high quality? Thanks

What physically happens when seasoning cast iron cookware?

From an engineering/physics standpoint, what is going on when you season cast iron cookware? Is smoking normal? Is this simply a build-up of carbon from burnt oil?

Is it really unhealthy to use aluminum cookware? What should you use instead – cast iron?

Someone told me that aluminum cookware can ultimately contribute to dementia. That sounds a little extreme and I don't know if it's true (hopefully not because I've been using that kind of cookware since 1990...)

But if you go with an alternative, should it be teflon coated? Old fashioned cast iron cookware? What (if anything) would be a healthier option?
