Are there dishes that should NOT be cooked in stainless steel cookware?

I just got a new set of stainless steel pots and pans. Are there certain dishes that should NOT be cooked in them? Any secrets that anyone wants to share about using this new cookware? I've always had non stick pans. I already learned that you need to cook at a lower cooking temperature than nonstick or cast iron. Those pans get REALLY HOT!! Thanks in advance for anyone's help!!

I want to buy new sets of cookware (pans, dishes etc. ) but I dont want the non stick ones coz it has teflon coating and I dont want to use that. Other than this and stainless steel can anybody suggest other kinds to buy for this thanksgiving.

I am looking for the ware that is good for health and is not harmful like teflon.

Can you use the same kind of cookware that you use in a regular oven? I have several glass bakeware dishes that say not to use on stovetop or under broiler, can these be used in a toaster oven?
