Stainless Steel Cookware- Does it burn easily?

I am planning to buy a 10pc stainless steel cookware.

Here is the description: This set is constructed of stainless steel with a triple-ply capsuled bottom, tempered glass lids, bakelite handles, and standard gage. The triple-ply consists of two stainless steel plates with a thick core of aluminum to conduct heat.

So with a thick core of aluminum will it be better in terms of not burnings easily. This is what I have heard of stainless steel cookware. Also is it easy to clean stainless steel.

Thanks and Regards
Yasmin

how to clean/sterilize stainless steel cookware?

I understand stainless steel cookware is very easy to clean and you shouldnt use bleach, so how do you clean it?

Is it as simple as put water and boil the water like you would sterilize something for 10 minutes?
Or is there something different.

I have 5 pots that were left by a bad house sitter that have been dirty for about 3 weeks now.

Is it OK to use a cooking spray on stainless steel cookware?

I am considering buying stainless steel cookware and am doing research but cannot find any info as to whether or not you can use cooking spray such as Pam on stainless steel and whether it affects cooking results in a positive or negative way. Sure it's best to use butter or oil for flavor but I want to use less fats and I do not want to purchase non-stick cookware. Thank you.

How to clean stainless steel cookware factory polish residue?

For brand new stainless steel cookware, if you run a kitchen towel or tissue over the edge or even the smooth surface, you can wipe off some gray color or charcoal color polish residue, you know what I'm talking about. Especially, at the edge, it is hard to clean them off completely. Don't know whether they are bad to your health. Anything that can clean them off completely and easily?
It seems, those polish residue is not like grease or oil, it is not hot soap water soluble.

Why should I use stainless steel cookware?

I received a very nice set of stainless steel cookware as a wedding gift. While very pretty, Im finding them almost useless for cooking. Everything sticks, they're difficult to clean, and Im using my old non-stick pans instead. Should I simply leave the stainless out for decortive purposes, or are stainless steel pans better for some applications?
