What is the best kind of cookware to buy???

There are so many kinds of cookware out there- for example iron pans, aluminum, stainless steel. I'm looking for something that's going to last me and not going to chip when i cook on it nor stick. Can anyone help me?????????

scanpan is world famous w/ people who really cook — it’s pricy, not "in fashion" & is supposed to last forever w/ lifetime warranty. go to scanpan.com & other sites for competitive pricing…the nonstick is so good you can use metal utensils, etc. sometimes it’s for sale on ebay…you can get a set or by the piece.

All clad is good. I would just buy the pans that you would use most often.
I would also consider if you would put it in the dishwasher every time it needs to be cleaned.
I think I also have some RevereWare.
It depends on what kind of cooking you do. I think it is all individual taste and what you like or can afford.
Just to add, I would get a Crock Pot also!!(They are great to have if you want to fix something like a stew and have the house smell really good as it is cooking!)
(I may have rambled on but hope that this helps.)
A non-stick baking pan for cookies may be helpful also.

I like pyrex…. But I’m not sure if that’s the kind of cookware you were talking about.
